It amazes me how often there is a good opportunity to take a picture from our front yard. This picture caught my eye as I was leaving the house a 7:15 am and it created two thoughts in my mind. First, was that I was looking down at a valley the was covered with fog. Secondly, at a quick glance, it looked as though there was a tidal wave coming over the tree. Where is Noah when you need him???

The next picture is of the same cloud bank about 5 miles from the house. The sun started to 'back-light' the top of the clouds. The silhouette of the barn, the grove of trees, and the tall, lone tree add much to the composition.
