Here are two photos that I probably will be submitting. One of these may not reach the final submittal, but what I enjoy the most about these projects is having a goal to shoot something specific, looking for the right opportunity, and capturing the picture.
First, this was taken just north of Canaan Mountain in New Hampshire and it was dank, dismal, and foggy. Great for the project!

The next picture was taken in Alpharetta, Georgia on McFarland Parkway. Ironically, this is the view from my desk at work. The storm clouds were moving in and, as you an see in the foreground, the morning light was reflecting off the tree, creating a nice contrast.
Not great weather but the foggy picture is very cool and the colors are lovely!
