Week 5 b

I put out some bird feed after the snow storm and this cardinal was one of the first to show up.  I set up the camera on a tripod on the patio, hooked up a remote that has a long chord to the camera and it was long enough to bring the other end into the house, where I could be comfortable.

This allowed me to get the camera closer and for me not being in view of the birds.  The camera was manual focused on the feeder and all I had to do is click the button on the remote.  I cropped this picture to have the cardinal close up.  I has a sunflower seed in its mouth.  Remember to click on the picture for a larger view of it.

This picture is the one from which I cropped the one above.  I shows more detail of the area surrounding the bird.
